Continuing to Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco, we'll explore its landmarks including the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. In Meknes, you'll have the option to visit a vineyard for some wine tasting if you wish. Our journey will take us through the vast open high desert, with the scenery gradually transitioning as we approach Er Rachidia. Continuing along the lush Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation, we'll pass through areas significant to the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, we'll embark on a guided camel ride into the sand sea of Erg Chebbi.
